Re: Mike S. Adams - "Fat Lesbians on Crack" and Comments

I wanted to comment on "Ken's" comment about the Mike Adams article "Fat Lesbians on Crack" about Ellen and Portia and to mention a few other things I think are important. This post became too long to leave as a comment so I had to actually turn it into my first blog post. Why not just jump in with both feet? (haha)

First of all, I agree with what Ken said about the homosexual lifestyle, but his facts concerning Ellen and her "wife" are incorrect. Personally I have nothing against these women. I have never walked in either of their shoes so it makes me unfit to judge them or their choices. In fact, I am only allowed to judge others who proclaim to be Christians since this is what the Word of God says. I do not watch Ellen's show even though I find her to be funny and more or less harmless with the exception of her evangelism about her lifestyle. I simply choose not to have that kind of thing in my life, as many Americans do as well. Ellen is 50 years old. Portia is 35 (it's sad that I know this); however, she is from Australia, where the incidence of skin cancer is one of the highest in the world. As we all know, sun exposure causes premature aging as well. Perhaps this is one reason Ken thinks she has an aged appearance? With all due respect, I think if we on the right are going to make judgmental comments about lifestyles and belief systems of which we disapprove, we really should get our facts straight. Otherwise we sound like ignorant bigots. Unfortunately it does little good to post our thoughts on controversial issues, even though we have the right to freely express our beliefs as those who would seek to tear apart the fabric of this nation. They can deny our Judeo-Christian foundation all they want. They can rant and rave, whine and cry discrimination until they are blue in the face. But they cannot change history. They can try to distort the facts that our founding fathers were men of faith, albeit differing faiths, and that they founded this nation as a Christian nation, free to exercise our faith or not if we so choose. The evidence is clearly written in our Constitution and in various state constitutions. We as Americans are free to practice our faith and NO ONE can deny us that right. Not even our employers! Anyone remember something along the lines of "Congress shall make no laws establishing a national religion nor prohibit the free exercise thereof"?

Judicial activism and legislation have gotten us into the mess we are in today as a nation, not those on the liberal left who are merely following their agenda. Who wouldn't when given the tools to do so? Their ideologies have been accepted by the culture of decadence so prevalent on our coasts and they view the rest of the country who don't share their "progressive" views as bigoted hicks. For years America has been bombarded with the left's agenda in films, the mainstream media, and sadly in our public school classrooms. The activist judges who have interpreted the constitution to fit their nefarious ideals WILL answer for it one day; either in this life or the eternal one. Unfortunately it is going to be up to the Silent Majority to hold them accountable. I wish I knew how to do that since they are an unelected body and yet they hold the fate of our nation in their filthy and blood-stained hands. But in the meantime, there are those of us who have to remain clear-headed, do our homework, know the Constitution backwards and forwards, and prove that the extremists on BOTH sides are WRONG. This country was founded on the tenets of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. I don't agree with the homosexual agenda and can express this any way I choose, but misstating the facts or being deliberately offensive not only hurts our debate, but alienates those we are trying to reason with.
